How To Reduce Your Body Weight

I would like to share my experience on how to reduce body weight and cholesterol. High cholesterol level in blood can contribute to heart diseases such as heart attack and stroke. Cholesterol level is also proportional related to our body weight. Half a year ago, my weight was 81kg and cholesterol level was sky-high at 8.5. With my height of 1.76m, 81kg body weight is consider over weight. I am manage to shed off 11kg and cholesterol level to 5.6 in six months without taking any medication or attending to any slimming course.

The key to success is to change life style which can give us longer term result. Many people who reduce their weight by taking medication, starving or through excessive exercises can not sustain their weight after a few months. Choose the sport which you like so that you can enjoy when doing it. I play my favourite game, badminton three times a week. Actually I have been playing badminton with that frequency before I really reduce my weight. Food intake plays a very important role for reducing weight and cholesterol. About 30% of cholesterol in body is contributed by the food which is consumed. I eliminate the intake of any fried food totally, and change the cooking style to boil and grill. I also reduce carbohydrate intake by cutting half of normal rice intake. As usual, I take three meals a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. During lunch and dinner, 50% of dishes is vegetable, 25% is beans and another 25% is meat. The main protein source is from fish. I only take bread for my breakfast everyday.

I feel uncomfortable at the starting when changing my food style but used to it after one month. My waist has gone down two inches and I look slim and healthier now. I hope that my experience can help those who really want to keep fit.
